2016-17 Regular Season Schedule Announced

The Eugene Generals and the United States Premier Hockey League are proud to announce the game schedule for the upcoming 2016-17 season.
Entering the team's twelfth season of play in the Emerald Valley, it will also be the team's very first season participating within United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL). The Generals will be playing a total of thirty six games against fellow Pacific Division opponents (Seattle Ravens, Tri-City Outlaws, and West Sound Warriors) with an even split of home and away games (18 home, 18 away).
In addition to the thirty six games against division opponents, the Generals will also travel to the USPHL’s Midwest Showcase (Chicago, IL) and IHC Showcase (Andover, MA) where they will play four games games at each event. Eight powerhouse opponents await the Generals at each of the two aforementioned USPHL showcases as the schedule includes matchups against the Marquette Royales, Tri City Icehawks, Michigan Wild, Traverse City North Stars, Atlanta Junior Knights, Carolina Eagles, Hampton Roads Whalers, and the Boston Junior Bruins
As the Generals prepare for the step up to thethe United States Premier Hockey League, coaches and staff alike are excited and eager to face the new challenge. “I can’t wait for the season to start,” says Head Coach Justin Kern. “We worked hard all summer for the upcoming season, and now being in the USPHL will give us the chance to prove ourselves in a larger pool and against new opponents."
The Generals open up Season Twelve on home ice with a two-game series vs. the Tri City Outlaws on Friday, September 16th (TICKETS) and Saturday, September 17th (TICKETS) with both games starting at 7:35pm. Tickets for all Generals home games can be purchased online at, or before the game in-person at the Generals box office, located at The Rink Exchange (FULL SCHEDULE).
The Generals will spend the 2016-17 season competing within the USP3, which is comprised of thirty total teams making up four divisions (Midwest, North, Pacific, and South). The United States Premier Hockey League, which operates in 20 of the 50 United States, is the nation's largest amateur ice hockey league, comprised of 171 total teams representing 61 organizations. During the previous season, the USPHL has over 300 players advance to the collegiate level.
