9th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night for the Generals

EUGENE, Ore. - The Eugene Generals are proud to announce the team’s 9th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night this upcoming Saturday, October 19th at the Rink Exchange.

The Generals will be wearing their signature pink jerseys the team wears once every year to promote breast cancer awareness.

This year, the Generals have altered the jerseys a little bit from years’ past. While most of the uniform is entirely pink, the Generals’ light blue color scheme will be visible on the team’s logo as well as the numbers.

The Health and Safety Institute has partnered with the Generals as a sponsor for this special night and will be recognized on the jerseys.

What the back of the jerseys will look like

Before the game, there will be a special ceremonial puck drop to commemorate the fight against breast cancer.

Starting later this week, the Generals will begin the auction for the game-worn pink jerseys, which will last for about a week. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to help fight breast cancer.

In addition to the proceeds from the auction, the Generals will also donate $1 for every ticket sold as well.

To take part in such a great cause, come watch the Generals take on the Vancouver Vipers at 7:35 PM this Saturday at the Rink Exchange. Tickets are available at eugenegenerals.com or by calling 541-359-4154.
