Weekend Preview: Three Teams, Day and Venue

EUGENE, Ore. - The Eugene Generals (13-9-0) will play three different teams at three different locations to start off their second-half of the 2011-12 season.

The Generals will play their first game of the weekend against the league's second place Seattle Totems (16-2-2) on the road. The game is scheduled to take place Friday, Jan. 6 at 8:00 p.m. The Totems have won all three match-ups this season between the two, but the Generals look to start this year off with a win.

The Generals will then travel home, to Eugene, and play the West Sound Warriors (9-14-0). The matchup has been scheduled to be played Saturday, Jan. 7 at 7:35 p.m. This season, the Warriors have had no luck against the Generals; who have won both games this season.

The Generals will travel south to finish off their weekend on the road by playing the Southern Oregon Spartans (21-7-0). The first-place Spartans will be no easy match for the Generals, as they will fight to keep their position as league leaders.

However, the Generals have had success against this Southern Oregon team.

The Generals are 2-3 against the Spartans this season. In their last game against the Spartans, the Generals lost the lead; losing the game 6-5. Be here, at the Lane County Ice Arena, this Saturday at 7:35 p.m. when the Generals make their first homecoming appearance of 2012.
