"I was very pleased about on how the team played in their first game together. There are always challenges with thirteen returning players and a new coach due to introductions of new systems," Coach Kennedy explained. "The boys showed great discipline and by the third period they started to trust the systems, especially in the neutral zone, which led to much better flow and speed into Puget's zone. Defensively, I felt we were strong all game as we limited"there scoring opportunities pretty well. Goaltending was solid and the great thing is we should only get better.
The Generals face the Seattle Totems (3-0) tonight at the Olympic View Arena at 8:00pm. This is the first meeting between these two teams since the Pacific Division Finals last year. The game will be on EGHN audio only with the pre-game show at 7:45.
