The Eugene Generals (15-18) will head up to Washington this weekend to take on the top-ranked Seattle Totems (32-2), the Puget Sound Tomahawks (2-32), and will finish off the weekend with a Sunday game against the River City Jaguars (10-23).
Last weekend, after losing to Southern Oregon at home on Friday night, the Generals went on to beat the Spartans on Saturday night down at Southern Oregon.
On Friday at 8:00 pm, the Generals will start the weekend off by facing off with the top-ranked Totems. Seattle has only received two losses this season; only won of those came from within the Pacific Division, and is undefeated against the Generals.
Saturday night at 7:30 pm the Generals will face off against the Puget Sound Tomahawks and aim to continue their season long winning streak against the Tomahawks this season.
To end the weekend the Generals will take on River City. The Generals have come out on top the last four times the teams have met and Eugene is now 10 points ahead of the Jaguars in NORPAC's Pacific Division. The Generals afternoon game will begin at 12:55 pm.
"After last weekend, I think the boys are very interested in testing themselves against the best team in the league Friday night against Seattle," head coach Chuck Kennedy had to say about Friday's match up. "There is no denying that Seattle is the team to beat and is very good at all facets of the game. It will be a very challenging test, but one that we continue to work towards and prepare for every day in practice."
"We then cannot take Puget Sound nor River City for granted, so we must have short memories after Friday nights game so we can take care of business Saturday and Sunday," Kennedy added regarding the rest of the weekend's games.
Friday and Saturday's games will be broadcasted on EGHN audio only with the pregame coverage beginning 20 minutes before game time.
