Generals Drop Finale In Wenatchee To End 2017

The Eugene Generals (5-14-1) dropped Sunday's series finale against the Wentachee Wolves by a final score of 11-1 at the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee, Washington.

Playing in the team's final game of 2017, the Generals trailed at the first intermission, 2-0, for the second consecutive day after first period goals by Wenatchee's Zach Ross and Brady Mistler.

After Wenatchee stretched their lead to 4-1 in the second, Eugene captain Jack Thornton put the Generals on the scoreboard with his fourth goal of the season off an assist from Dakota Henn. However, the Wolves would respond emphatically with five goals to carry a 9-1 lead into the final period.

Wenatchee added two more goals in the final twenty minutes to pick up an 11-1 win on Sunday evening.
